Request an Absentee Ballot

Where is District 86?
On March 27, 2024, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan approved new state House district boundaries drawn by the Michigan Independent Citizens Redistricting Commission (MICRC) for use in the 2024 elections. Unlike previous elections, the Greater Holland area is now a part of Michigan District 86.

District 86 encompasses the greater Holland area, including the City of Holland, part of Holland Township, and all of Park and Laketown Townships. It sits in both Allegan and Ottawa Counties.
Our district enjoys great natural beauty and fun, from Lake Michigan and the Big Red Lighthouse to the Tulip Time Festival and our lively downtown.
